The Middle East's Favourite Luxury Yachting Destination

From your doorstep to the sea, Dubai’s luxury waterfront properties make it easy to set sail in style at a moment’s notice.

Dubai maritime heritage spans from its historical beginnings as a sea trading hub on the Persian Gulf. Since the UAEs inception in 1971, the renowned Emirate has grown into a vibrant cosmopolis and must-visit destination for those who seek a luxury yachting lifestyle.

Pristine bays, canals and spectacular man-made archipelagos can be found dotted across the city, equipped with marinas that transcend global standards of service and quality. Recognised as a focal point for the international boating market, industry experts and investors gather annually to take part in the Dubai International Boat Show, which has announced a star-studded line-up of superyacht builders for its 2022 exhibit, including Benetti, CRN, Feadship, Fincantieri, Lürssen, Sanlorenzo and Oceanco.

According to Mohammed Al-Sayyed, manager of Royal Star Yachts charter company, the interest in chartering yachts has risen consistently since Covid-19 regulations eased in July 2020. He stated that “people preferred something secure with regulations” and due to the city’s responsible enforcement of safety precautions and a 70% capacity limit, “we are able to provide guests with the proper customer service, while still following all the rules and sanitising the yacht.”

It’s not only Dubai’s charter companies that are taking part in the new socially distanced activity of choice but also luxury yacht owners throughout the city. A selection of the city’s elite homes line different waterfront neighbourhoods and feature private marinas. Given access to superyacht berths and mooring facilities, residents have the option to spend a few days away from home without travelling overseas.

From Dubai Marina to the Dubai Water Canal, boat owners can experience entirely different atmospheres for their journey to the sea. Owning a waterfront villa at Trident Marinascape offers immediate access to a premium Yacht Club and ensures residents set sail surrounded by mesmerising views of towering skyscrapers and bustling locales. Oppositely, located on the island of Palm Jumeirah is the secluded private jetty at One Palm, which delivers a more tranquil, intimate ambience. Habtoor City’s Amna Tower provides a middle ground, where residents can cruise through the serene Dubai Water Canal and enjoy delightful sights of pedestrians and cyclists along the promenade.
The city’s diverse addresses establish it as a frontrunner in the world's most popular yachting destinations. Residents find an ideal balance between coastal living and urban comfort, one of the compelling motivations behind the influx of international buyers and yachting enthusiasts who continue to choose Dubai as their second home
